I'm a statistician and data scientist based out of Vancouver with a Master's in Statistics from the University of British Columbia. I have contributed to and authored over twenty peer-reviewed publications resulting from research projects. I've spent the past six years in health research, currently as the statistician for Canada's leading kidney transplant research group, and before that at the reproductive infectious diseases lab and the centre for rural health research. Prior to my work in health research, I enjoyed several years in industry building production models on customer and financial data. I enjoy data-analysis, including building dashboards, visualizations, and slide-decks.

How I Work
I am happy to offer a free consultation to assess your needs and see if working together is a good fit. For reference, the scope of my work extends from academic research projects to business slide-decks to web-based data-visualization dashboards. I am also skilled at data scraping, automated data pipelines, and web design.
For analysis-driven projects, approach is data-forward: I begin by looking at the data itself, assess the completeness, and provide a "360 degree" look at the data from all angles, often plotting all variables against one another for a rigorous manual inspection. This meticulous approach helps avoid problems down the road.
I believe the strongest analyses are the ones with interpretable and actionable implications, and I hold that standard whether the audience is a surgeon, a sponsor, or a product team. I'm based in Vancouver and work remotely with clients anywhere.
